Usher Returns With ‘Good Kisser” [VIDEO]

usher-good-kisser-coverUsher’s new single and video for “Good Kisser” are dripping with sexual innuendo set in a classic R&B sound. Did we just get our Ursher back?

Usher’s most recent efforts have leaned more toward the dance music craze that has dominated music for the last couple of years. However, he somehow saw fit to go back to his R&B roots for “Good Kisser” (available on iTunes and Amazon). The song is as simple as it gets with its bare bones beat and minimal production. And outside of the portions where he speaks over the beat, Usher is actually singing his butt off. And what would a classic Usher record be without heaps of sexual innuendo? He almost makes the acts he is discussing sound classy … almost.

The Voice mentor’s companion video follows that same minimalistic theme, opting to shoot in an empty warehouse accented with white lights. This gives him all the space he needs to show off his smooth moves flanked by a troupe of dancers. It all comes together to fully embody the fun spirit of the song. It’s definitely worth a watch or 10.
