‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Trailer Brings Back Those Old Feelings

Star-Wars-7-Trailer-2-Han-Solo-and-Chewbacca-1024x422There is an ungodly amount of anticipation hanging on the release of the next film in the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And today, during the 2015 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA, a new teaser trailer was released that will blow away your expectations.

When the announcement came that Disney would be releasing new Star Wars films, many called the move sacrilegious, especially since the mastermind behind it all, George Lucas, would not be running things. One of the chief worries was that these new films would feel too “Disney” and not ring true to the original films. The first teaser left many still unsure, but if this new teaser is to be any indication, those fears should be pushed aside.

From the music to the breathtaking cinematography to those X-Wing and TIE Fighter dogfights, the trailer rings true to Lucas’ legacy. And for all those fanboys like me out there, I can confirm that it is indeed Luke Skywalker’s voice providing that voice-over.

Watch the teaser below, and get your life like I did:

Amazing right? Well, that is just the tip of the iceberg as we can expect to get a full trailer showing Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia with the release of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will take movie theaters by storm on Christmas Day this year.
